Lawnbott Professional LB2110
LawnBott Professional LB2110 Review
LawnBott's entry level fully autonomous robotic lawnmower has been improved for 2009. Improvements include: advanced spiral mode, blade modulation, new wheel design, improved motors, improvements to the programming, hardware, and much more.
This low cost, fully autonomous lawnmower is a very smart buy! Yes, it is our entry-level fully autonomous model, but the Lawnbott LB2110 roboic lawn mower is anything but basic. Supplied with two standard lead batteries (or one lithium on LB2150), the weatherproof Lawnbott LB2110 (formerly called Professional) robot lawn mower can mow your lawn everyday - twice a day on a schedule you set. The included adjustable rain sensor alerts the robot to return to its docking station or stay in it's docking station while it's raining. The rain sensor can optionally be set to 'pause' the lawnmower until you restart its missions.
Since the Lawnbott Professional LB2110 robotic lawn mower is only 16.5 inches wide, it can mow in areas that Robomower RL1000 automatic lawnmower can't! Click the link below to:

The Lawnbott Professional LB2110 robotic lawn mower can cover up to 3 mowing zones automatically each with its own entry point. Think of zones as sections. Your front yard can be one zone. Your side yard is a zone & your backyard is a zone. In some cases the front and side areas can be combined into one zone depending on the size and yard configuration. Once setup, the Lawnbott Professional LB2110 robotic lawn mower will follow the perimeter wire until it reaches the desired zone then mow inside. After it completes mowing, the lawn mower robot follows the wire back to the docking station to charge. As a side note: We will gladly illustrate an installation plan for your yard. We offer this service free of charge to all our customers to eliminate the guesswork when determining the best mowing efficiency. Robomower.biz will also walk you through the one-time setup process step by step over the phone or through email to ensure your complete satisfaction.
The Lawnbott Professional LB2110 robotic lawn mower , actually all Lawnbotts, have custom IMS motors, which were specially designed to use for Lawnbott robot lawn mowers. The direct motor-to-wheel method does not use loud plastic gears found in the Robomower. Not only is motor-to-wheel a lot more reliable, it's also nearly silent but yet more than powerful enough to handle steep slopes! The Lawnbott lawn mower can barely be heard standing 15 feet directly away from it.
Previously available in the higher end models, blade modulation now comes standard on the LawnBott LB2110 / LB2150 robotic lawn mowers. As the LawnBott LB3210 / LB3250 robotic lawn mower mows, it monitors the amount of grass resistance from the blade. On low grass, the blade motor slows down, but on higher grass the LawnBott robotic lawn mower pushes more power to the mowing motor to slice through thickest grass. Smart - very smart! Blade modulation conserves battery power as well as reduces wear on the mowing motor.
Previously available in the higher end models, advanced spiral model now comes standard on the LawnBott LB2110 / LB2150 robotic lawn mowers. The Advanced Spiral Cut allows the LawnBott LB2110 & LB2150 robotic lawn mowers to concentrate, by spiraling outwards, from any area where it senses high grass. This feature helps to assure an evenly cut lawn and helps the LawnBott robotic lawn mower spend more time in areas of the lawn that grow faster than the rest.
The LawnBott is the only robotic lawn mower that has been accepted by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
A perimeter signal disturbance filter is now included with the LawnBott LB2110 and the LawnBott LB2150. This filter condenses the perimeter wire signal reducing interface and signal flares.
With its bump sensors, the Lawnbott Professional LB2110 robot lawn mower will stop & reverse direction after gently encountering an obstacle such as a tree or garden wall. This safety features also protects the lawn mower from running over items that may be lying in the yard, such as a bicycle or lawn statues. If for any reason the mower leaves the perimeter wire, it'll automatically shut down.
The Lawnbott is rain-proof but to protect your lawn, the included adjustable rain sensor alerts the robot to return to its docking station or stay in it's docking station while it's raining. The rain sensor can optionally be set to 'pause' the lawn mower until you restart its missions. You can also disable the rain sensor.
The Lawnbott Professional LB2110's firmware is updatable free of charge through the internet with the optional cable. It can also mow without perimeter wire in fully enclosed areas. The cut quality is similar to that of the LB3200 Evolution and LB3500. Optional spiked or hooked wheels can be used for added traction and are recommend if using the standard lead acid batteries on slopes.
The only regular maintenance items are blades and batteries. Think long-term - the Lawnbott Professional LB2110's internal parts (except batteries and blades) are rated to last 8 - 10 years before repairs are needed. Since it's user serviceable and easy to repair, it will last forever! For example, replacing a blade or wheel motor only takes about 15-20 mins with common household tools like wrenches, allen wrenches and screw drivers! (Robomowers require some custom expensive tools to repair.) www.lawnbotts.com is your quick service center - we gladly do any and all repairs.
Lithium batteries have a life span that's 2 -3 times longer than lead acid making the Lawnbott Professional LB2110 robotic lawn mower with lithium batteries (LB2150) the ultimate bargain! Even if you chose not to upgrade the batteries during your initial order, you can always replace the current lead acid batteries with lithium in just a few short steps. (Email us for instructions.) One lithium battery can run longer than two lead acid batteries and reduces the weight of the Lawnbott Professional LB2110 robotic lawn mower about half. Less weight means less wear and tear.
